In my early days, shooting Kodachrome 64, focusing manually, no motordrive, and only one chance to get the shot!
From my first magazine cover at the age of 17 to fulltime sports photographer. I have covered many different sports, starting with motorsport (British Touring Cars, F1, and WRC) and then moving on to Tennis, Athletics, Cycling, Golf (Ryder Cup & Masters), Badminton, Windsurfing in South Africa and Hawai’i, and loads more.
Whilst I love the variety, I have also dedicated some time to other sports that do not normally get their fair share of the spot light. With Badminton, I have tried hard to take it from its rather dowdy image, to show the world what an incredible sport it really is.
